National Model Aviation Day on August 11 was well attended and as always in the south in August, Hot, and Humid. We supported Friends of DeKalb County-AL Animal Adoption Center who was on site. Collected over $450.00 for this wonderful organization for pet adoption. Great fun, fellowship, food, and flying. All food and drinks were donated by local businesses. PaPa John's Pizza, Foodland, United Grocery Outlet and Sonic (ice). All proceeds went to the Adoption Center. Thanks to all that came and donated.
